IPL PHOTOREJUVENATION SERVICES IN GILBRT, AZ

If you’re starting to see more brown spots and fine lines appear on your skin, it’s likely you’re seeing the results of sun damage. Over the years, exposure to harmful UV rays can take a toll on the skin. Eventually, the damage becomes visible in the form of hyperpigmentation, capillaries, uneven skin tone, and fine lines.

Want to kiss your sun damage goodbye? Then it’s time to discover Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments with the Lumenis Laser M22 at Vivid Skin & Laser Center!

HOW DOES IPL PHOTOREJUVENATION WORK?

Lumenis is considered the gold standard in laser treatments, as it is the first laser developed for IPL treatments. The Lumenis Laser M22 combines Multiple Sequential Pulsing (MSP) and Optimal Pulse Technology (OPT) to target the darker pigments caused by sun damage. Additionally, these features help improve patient comfort during the procedure

The pulsing wavelengths target multiple skin layers, targeting both current sun damage and damage that has yet to appear on the skin. Melanin and oxyhemoglobin absorbs the broad spectrum of light, causing the darker pigment to break down. Over time, skin looks smoother and younger, with a more even complexion.

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE LIKE?

IPL Photorejuvenation takes about an hour to perform. A single handpiece will be used to deliver the wavelengths to your desired treatment area. A cooling device will help mitigate any discomfort associated with the heating sensation.

After the procedure, you should wear a high SPF sunscreen, as your face will be red and sensitive to sunlight. About 3 to 5 days after the treatment, you’ll start to see your skin flake; this is your dermis shedding the top layer of skin. With consistent treatment, you should see noticeable fading of sun damage.

You should see ideal results 8 to 12 weeks after your final IPL Photorejuvenation procedure.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Most patients need about 6 treatments scheduled four weeks apart. You and your aesthetician will determine your ideal treatment schedule during your consultation.

Is IPL Photorejuvenation Right For Me?
